Hey, I'm    Soni

I'm a bako town girl. I was born in L.A, but I've

been lucky enough to be raised in Bakersfield, California. Hence, the name OrganizingBako (Bako stands for Bakersfield, just in case you're not from Bako!). I went to Ridgeview High School and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree from Fresno State. I have three beautiful kids and a charming and loving husband.  Being a small town girl and the first to go to college from my family is a great accomplishment according to me (can you tell I like sarcasm).  But for real, going to college was one of the best experiences I had growing up. Now, in my thirties I discovered that one of my true loves is organizing and teaching women to get organized too.

Something that people don't really know about me is that after I had my first son I experienced some depression. And as I had my last two children, first a boy and then a girl I became more unhappy. I felt my life was very unorganized even though I have been very organized all of my life. Imagine that, I felt unorganized even as a Professional Home Organizer. Hah! But it is true. Being a first time mother and then being married and having a full time job in something I did not love I felt out of alignment and unhappy. But as I started little by little getting myself organized in my thoughts and in my values and difficult seasons passed, I started to gain momentum little by little and my dreams and aspirations including my life started to feel organized again. That is not to say that sometimes I don't feel unorganized now, but now it is easier for me to get organized once again because I have my house organized, I have set systems in place and I write my goals down and keep track of them, etc. That is why I want to help women get aligned and get organized too, so they too can feel like they have control of their lives and succeed in all aspects of their lives.

On a lighter note, I love dancing and staying fit. I like Zumba, hiking, camping, bike riding and so much more. I am bilingual. I speak obviously English and Spanish. I love Snickers, the candy bar and anything milk chocolate from See's Candy. Chips are my weakness, and especially the Lay's kettle chips in jalapeno flavor and oh yeah, hot cheetos. I adore my family and I make it a priority all the time to be with them and have quality time together. I also have a love for helping women become a better version of themselves. Oh, and by the way as you may know already I LOVE, LOVE to organize ANYTHING. I would love to help YOU find new systems to be more productive and have more time and get your life organized for good.

My Mission

I believe spaces should look beautiful. Yet, functional for everyday life. The feeling I get from helping someone declutter or organize their home is amazing. I have a passion for what I do and I love to help people. Let me help you in your journey to making your life more beautiful.

If this is this something that you often experience I want to help.

Do you feel like you have no time, no energy, and often feel very overwhelmed at times?

If you answered YES! I want to tell you are not alone. We live in a generation of independence and we are sometimes too afraid to ask for help for many different reasons. I am here to tell you, my friend, that it is okay to get help and it is time to start taking care of you.

 A Proverbs 31 Woman

Proverbs 31:25-27

She is clothed with strength and dignity; She can laugh at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
